technology and survey creation software are used (e.g., SurveyMonkey, etc.) to
create and administer instruments and collect data electronically via your
website or email accounts.
A. Primary Data Collection: programs that require the collection of primary data would most likely involve some type of instrument development to measure changes in skills, knowledge, behavior and attitudes relevant to project goals.
This may include but are not limited to:
* Surveys and Questionnaires * Tests and Assessments * Inventories and Checklists * Scoring Rubrics * Program Information Forms * Record and Document Review Forms * Interview and Focus Group Protocols * Observation and Case Study Protocols
Additionally, previously developed standardized assessments and surveys that measure changes relevant to project goals will be explored using Buros’ Mental Measurement Yearbook and/or other sources.
B. Secondary Data Collection: research projects that use secondary databases exclusively will require some type of data mining and re-analysis, but will not necessitate instrument development.
